The 2005 Nathan Harris Award

Becky Cassidy

" Recognizing an individual for outstanding contribution to the economic vitality of Burlington."  Established in 1979 in memory of Nate Harris, owner of Nate's Mens Clothiers, and a founding member of BBA.

 

The 2005 Hertzel Pasackow Award

Champlain College "The Power of Three" Buildings

"For significant contribution to the physical or architectural quality of Burlington." Established in 1986 in memory of Hertzel Pasackow, owner of the Mayfair on upper Church Street, and founding member of both BBA and the Church Street Marketplace Commission. 

 

The 2005 Burlington Business Award

Gardener's Supply Company

"For exemplary business practices, contributions to the community, promotion of a positive image for Burlington, and business success." Established in 2002, originally as the Small Business Award.

 

The awards were presented at the 27th Annual Dinner on May 12 at the Wyndham Hotel.
