The Downtowner |
Thank you, Peter! And Congratulations to Bob Kiss |
|
A new mayor is preparing to move into City Hall, and Peter Clavelle is redirecting his attention toward international development at ARD. Here at BBA we are counting how many ways we will miss you, Peter. |
|
You’ve been a willing speaker at dozens of BBA dinners and meetings. You’ve shared your dreams for Burlington, and cared for its needs. You’ve pitched in at clean ups and green ups, plunged into the icy lake and sweated in the Marathon, cut innumerable ribbons and broken ground for scores of projects. You’ve supported small businesses, strengthened neighborhoods, and represented the City with pride in national forums. The Waterfront, Boathouse and bike path can be directly attributed to your leadership. Peter, we’ll miss your good humor and candor about the issues. We’ll miss Betsy, too. Best wishes to you both, and thank you for all you do. |

Above, Betsy and Peter congratulate Lois Bodoky, winner of the BBA Small Business Award at the 2004 Annual Dinner. Left, always ready to pitch in and enjoy doing it - Peter and the “Green Man” help clean up downtown in May 2005. |
