Workplace Commuter Challenge May 7-11th

Five award categories

Employers Encouraged to Participate

Last year, 35 employers participated in the Workplace Commuter Challenge. The results were impressive. In just one week, 1,175 commuters saved 85,000 miles of commuting and more than 74,000 pounds of transportation pollutants.

The annual Way to Go! is a weeklong event May 7-11th when everyone is encouraged to use cheaper, healthier and more earth-friendly transportation alternatives to driving alone.  Participation is easy. All you have to do is call Peter Keating at Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning (CCMPO) at 802-660-4071 x 14 and begin promoting it in your workplace.  Brochures, posters, tips and on-line sign-up will be provided.
