BBA members and friends celebrated the Holidays at an evening get together at the Hilton on December 6. The party doubled as the Annual Holiday Social and as a surprise party for retiring executive director Nancy Wood.  Here is a note from Nancy:

Dear BBA Friends,

I will cherish the memories of this special evening, and of the years working as the BBA executive director. A special “thank you” for their kind words to John Ewing, Ron Redmond, Walt Decker, Senator Leahy via Ted Brady, and Tim Halvorson; to Peter Straube for the nostalgic picture show; to John Zahn and the Hilton for the yummy cake and picture; to Becky Cassidy, Kelly Devine and the Program Committee and most especially Denise for organizing this wonderful surprise; to all of you who came and who have written such thoughtful notes; and to each and every BBA member and the many Burlington friends who have made the last 5 years such a pleasure. I will miss our frequent discussions and working together, but I’ll continue to be one of Burlington’s biggest fans.  A very Happy Holiday to you all,  Nancy
