Vermont City Marathon, Inc. was established in 1989. VCM has grown into a year round organization that implements many events and programs including a Youth Program, Sports & Fitness Expo, Urban Adventure, Running Camps and much more. The name RunVermont was created to house all that VCM, Inc. now implements.

Our Mission Statement: RunVermont is committed to the promotion of running as a life long activity through complementary programs that celebrate the athletic spirit, are recognized nationally, and embraced by the VT community.

Voted one of the top 10 most scenic marathons in the country, this marathon & marathon relay event draws over 5,000 runners & 1500 volunteers from all regions of the U.S.
